South Korean star Kim Woo Bin entered showbiz as a model, but his popularity truly skyrocketed when he played a student who always gets into fights in the TV drama School 2013. Because he acted as a bad boy character so well, the 24-year-old star was offered a similar role in the blockbuster gangster movie, Friend 2, and in the high-rating TV series, The Heirs.
Despite The Heirs also featuring superstar Lee Min Ho, Woo Bin stood out in the show with his believable acting and natural charm as Choi Young Do, the leader of a school gang. The role won him countless new fans throughout Asia.
Tickets for Kim Woo Bin’s upcoming 6 pm fan meeting in Thailand sold out quickly, so the organiser, E-Intent, set up an earlier meeting at 1 pm on the same day for the fans that missed out.
