SW visits Rayong

Many people like to spend their vacation during the hot season by the sea in Thailand. One of the most popular seaside locations is Rayong province, where there are plentiful natural resources, beautiful beaches and scenic bays.

For Freeze Frame this week, SW explores some of the well-known tourist attractions in Rayong.

Baan Phae is famed for local souvenirs and fresh seafood. Visitors can also watch local fishermen hunting crabs and squid off the coast of Rayong.

Samet Island is also known as Crystal Island, since its sands and seawater are so clean and clear.

Tourists who want to explore surrounding scenic views can hire all-terrain vehicles throughout Rayong.

Ao Tabtim is one of the best known scenic bays in Rayong.

Girls enjoy splashing in the water at Ao Wong Duan, where travellers can find various types of bungalows and other accommodation.
