Big Bang's latest EP Mini 4 has been highly anticipated by fans, since it has been two years since the group's last release. The EP has already met with overwhelming success, with all six tracks taking up the top six positions on South Korea's digital download chart and 100,000 copies of the CD sold in just four days.

Big Bang still live up to their reputation as fashion icons on the new album, with their stylish new apparel and groovy haircuts.

Group leader G-Dragon worked as a producer on the EP, while T.O.P. did some extra rapping on some of the songs. The guys also wrote the Korean lyrics for their dance singles "Hands Up" and "Somebody to Love."

"What Is Right" is a song about a guy trying to figure out how to do the right thing for his girlfriend. The track mixes hip-hop and dance music with some soft rock. The sad song "Cafe" is about G-Dragon's experience being left by his ex-girlfriend at a coffee shop.

With their latest release, Big Bang have obviously spent time developing their singing and dancing skills. K-pop listeners won't want to miss hearing Mini 4, while the EP would also be a fine place to start for pop fans that have yet to check out Big Bang's music. - PT
