Sahamongkol Film recently teamed up with veteran director Surasee Phatham to remake Surasee's hit 1978 movie, Kru Bannok (The Rural Teacher). The film is due to hit cinemas on January 14, just in time for Teacher's Day.

Sound Check : Punchy pop
Phenomenon is the fifth album by talented singer Punch, and it's quite different from her last release. Punch seems to have gone back to the modern pop rock style of her first two albums, but with a harder, more modern sound. As a result, Phenomenon has already been better received by Punch's long-term fans than her previous two albums.

Lionel Messi, who on December 21, 2009, added Fifa's World Player of the Year award to his prestigious Ballon d'Or accolade, has certainly proved he can handle pressure.
