  • Movie: Rural romance

    The new movie Embracing Khemarat is about life and love in the small town of Khemarat, along the Mekong River. Inspired by the experiences of Ubon Ratchathani physician Ritt Pokkrittayahariboon, the film stars the first runner-up in Miss Thailand 2009, Kobkullaya Chuengprasertsrit (Phuen), who now works as a doctor.

  • Music: Time for Apartment Khunpa

    Fans of Bangkok's beloved indie rockers Apartment Khunpa are happy that the band finally released their first album in six years, Raksaniyom, in March. This was followed by their latest single "Nalika Sai (Hourglass)." The band is well-known for their honest and direct lyrics which cover philosophy, modern society, nightlife and even politics.

  • TV: The good, the bad and the scary

    Handsome Chayapol Bunnag (Aun) was discovered by the well-known director Poj Arnon while he was at a restaurant with his mother and sister. His roles in the 2009 comedy horror movies Sassy Player and Haunting Me impressed the executives at Channel 7. Since then, Aun has played different kinds of characters in several TV series.

    The popular trio Polycat released their latest single after winning the Best Style of the Year at The Guitar Mag Awards 2016. The style of the band is to bring the mood and sounds of the 1980s, and it's their look and keyboard sounds which keep them retro.

  • Movie: Fight for survival

    In the near future, a terrible virus has taken over the planet. There are more people infected than uninfected, and everybody are struggling to survive. The only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained.
