By Terry Fredrickson
What do you think is going to happen?
These photos were taken from a short video of a baby who was very sleepy. Before you watch the video, what do you think is going to happen?
Choose one of the situations below. Use a complete sentence to say what you think is going to happen.
Do you think the baby is going to fall to the left?
Do you think the baby is going to fall to the right?
Do you think the baby is going to fall backwards?
Do you think the baby is going to suddenly wake up?
Now watch the video.
Answer in complete sentences.
What did you think was going to happen?
Teachers: It is fun to stop the video at various points and ask the students if they have changed their minds about what is going to happen.

Showing off your own video
If you have a short video or an idea that you think would work to illustrate an English verb form, you can connect us through twitter or contact me directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have a finished video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube so we can have a look at it. We can then embed it on a page on our site as well. Make a short lesson together with your video so users can understand the main point.
You can also point out videos that you find online that might be useful for understanding verbforms.
