The latest computer animated 3-D comedy film from Reel FX Creative Studios is Free Birds, directed by renowned animator Jimmy Hayward.
Reggie (Owen Wilson) is a naïve turkey who enjoys a happy life at the US President’s Camp David country retreat, where he basically does nothing but eat pizza and watch TV.
However, three days before Thanksgiving Day, Reggie is kidnapped by Jake (Woody Harrelson), who is the president of the Turkeys Liberation Front. Reggie is shocked to learn from Jake that turkeys aren’t guests at Thanksgiving dinners, but rather the dinner for the guests.
The two Turkeys then use a time machine to travel back to the first Thanksgiving celebrations in 1621. Their mission is to take turkey off the menu for all future Thanksgiving Days.
