Adam Levine’s American pop-rock band Maroon 5 have been playing concerts around the world for more than 10 years and last visited Thailand in September. Recently they released their first greatest hits album, Singles, which brings together the hits from their five albums.

First track "This Love," from their debut 2002 album Songs About Jane, is Maroon 5’s typical pop-rock with a touch of R&B, as frontman Adam Levine sings of breaking up with his girlfriend. The next track jumps to their 2012 hit, "Payphone" featuring American rapper Wiz Khalifa, which is another song about the end of a relationship.

The album gets more energetic with the huge hits "Moves Like Jagger," featuring Christina Aguilera, and “One More Night.” The album closer and latest single is "Sugar," a bland pop-soul number that was helped by its popular wedding-crashing video.

This is an album packed with great songs. If you’re a fan of Maroon 5 and their disco, funk-pop and soul vibe, this album will make you very happy. — SK
