The old town of Wuzhen in China’s Zhejiang province welcomes a large number of visitors each year. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, pretty canals and interesting old buildings.

For this week’s Freeze Frame, SW takes a look at tourist attractions in Wuzhen.

Wuzhen has many factories that produce fine quality silk, including the Yida silk workshop, which was established during the Qing Dynasty in 1875.

Apart from lamb noodles and marinated duck, stinky tofu is another recommended dish in Wuzhen.

Visitors drink tea and watch an open-air film screening at a vintage café.

Tourists take photos of the koi fish at an old wooden bridge.

The old wooden trading boats are now a popular mode of transportation for visitors.

Many souvenir shops are located in the ancient town. Popular souvenirs include hand-painted umbrellas, rice wine and chrysanthemum tea.
