Echosmith
Talking Dreams
Warner Music Thailand

The Californian cool kids, Echosmith, have released their debut album, Talking Dreams. This family band is made up of four brothers and sisters and is managed by the father. Echosmith are very influenced by ‘80s music, which you might have heard on the band’s million-selling US single, “Cool Kids.” The music video has nearly 50 million views on YouTube.

Talking Dreams opens with “Come Together,” which really defines the simplicity of the record. The title track, “Talking Dreams,” is driven by a fuzzy bass line and topped with a catchy chorus. While the lyrics on the album might sometimes be a little cheesy, there’s an undeniable charm to vocalist Sydney Sierota’s singing.

Overall, the youngsters made a great pop album. The catchiness of their melodies will definitely stick in your brain. — AS
