Ethan Renner (Costner) is a dangerous international spy who is determined to give up his high-stakes life in order to build a closer relationship with his estranged wife, Christine (Connie Nielsen) and his daughter, Zoey (Hailee Steinfeld).
First, however, Ethan must complete one last mission in exchange for an experimental drug that could save his life from terminal illness, even if it means juggling his two toughest assignments yet. The spy has to hunt down the world’s most ruthless terrorist, while at the same time look after his teenage daughter for the first time in 10 years while his wife is out of town.
