Will Smith started his career in the 1980s as a rapper with DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince.

Written and directed by American filmmakers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, Focus combines drama, action and comedy in an intriguing story about clever crime and double-crossing partners.

Nicky Spurgeon (Will Smith) is a seasoned criminal and con man who becomes romantically involved with attractive novice con artist Jess (Margot Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, Jess gets too close for comfort and Nicky abruptly breaks off their relationship

Three years later, the former flame — now an accomplished femme fatale — shows up in Buenos Aires in the midst of Nicky’s latest, dangerous scheme. Jess is on the opposing side of the same scam, which involves the high stakes race car circuit. As Jess throws Nicky’s plans for a loop, the consummate con man finds that she might be more than he bargained for.

Catch the action, drama and humour when Focu s hits local cinemas on February 26.
