Christmas compilation beings back memories

The Best Ever Christmas
Warner Music Thailand

For many people this is the time of year to spend with family, eating and drinking far too much. The perfect soundtrack is a mixture of old and new Christmas songs and The Best Ever Christmas has two CDs full of famous festive hits. The first CD has 20 modern songs, while the second CD has more traditional choir and orchestral tunes.

The first CD spans the period from the 1960s to more recent years, with older songs like Brenda Lee’s famous “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and The Spinners’ version of “Twelve Days of Christmas.” The most recent song is CeeLo Green’s 2012 hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

If your grandparents come to visit you this season, they’ll probably prefer the second CD. There are several songs by the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, who cover classics like “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “O Come all Ye Faithful.”

Whether you’re nine or 90, there’ll be a song you like on this album. Surround yourself with friends and family and make some new Christmas memories this holiday season. — GB
