Apart from historical sites and a nice atmosphere, strawberry farms and strawberry-inspired venues are interesting spots in South Korea for tourists to explore.

For this week’s Freeze Frame, SW takes a look at strawberry culture in South Korea.

Strawberry pizza is the signature dish at I Have A Dream Restaurant. The innovative Italian restaurant also serves a variety of strawberry smoothies as well as other creative dishes.

A strawberry farmer shows the inside of a beehive. His strawberry farm requires bees to work as pollinators and there are companies in Korea that offer bees for rent.

A tourist walks on steps featuring a strawberry-inspired character at Dalki Theme Park and Shop in Kyungki province. Dalki is a cartoon character that lives in a garden with her friends whose characters are also vegetable and fruit inspired.

Strawberry fondue served with chocolate dip is available at Edelweiss Park, a cultural village where visitors can enjoy Swiss architecture.

Fresh strawberries are available at many Seoul fruit markets including Yeong Deung Po market. The prices range from 400 to 2,000 baht per kilogramme.
