John and Ted are scared of thunder.
Directed by comedian and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, Ted 2 sees the return of the lovable foul-mouthed bear.
In the years since we last saw John (Mark Wahlberg) and Ted (Seth MacFarlane), they’ve been living in Boston. Although John is single, Ted has settled down with Tami-Lynn, the trashy woman of his dreams. As problems begin to affect their marriage, Ted and Tami-Lynn decide to have a baby. However, Ted is not legally a person and therefore not allowed to adopt a child.
John and Ted find a lawyer named Samantha L. Jackson (Amanda Seyfried) and head to court to prove that Ted is really a person. But when they lose the case, the three must take a road trip to New York to persuade legendary lawyer Patrick Meighan (Morgan Freeman) to help them.
If they win, they will prove that Ted is not just a stuffed teddy bear, but actually a person who deserves the same freedoms as any other American. Find out the verdict when Ted 2 opens on July 30.
