The highly-anticipated sequel to the popular 2010 action comedy film Kick-Ass is about to hit local cinema screens.

In their last adventure, junior assassin Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) and the young masked hero Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. Now, with graduation looming and uncertain about what to do with their talents, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy.

Unfortunately, when Mindy is caught sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire, leaving her to deal with the mean girls at high school on her own. With nobody left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, a group run by an ex-gangster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Just as they start to make a difference fighting crime on the streets, a new super-villain (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) assembles his own evil crew and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad.

Find out what happens to the young heroes when the amusing and action-packed Kick-Ass 2 opens on August 22.
