From legendary British film director Ridley Scott comes a highly charged new thriller called The Counselor, featuring an all-star cast including Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz.
The film’s complicated plot involves a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who is about to marry his girlfriend (Cruz), but who after a chance meeting quickly becomes embroiled in a drug deal with ruthless criminals.
In order to earn some quick cash, the lawyer gets involved in what is supposed to be a one-off deal to bring millions of dollars worth of drugs from Mexico to the US. However, when something goes wrong with the deal, it sets off a chain of events that leads to a trail of death and destruction, forever changing the lives of everybody involved.
Catch the action and brutal suspense when The Counselor hits local cinemas on November 21.
