In their new singe, The Fox,” Ylvis have created a parody of modern pop dance music to try to solve the mystery of what kind of sound foxes make.
This week’s Karaoke Korner takes a look at vocabulary words used in the lyrics.

In brief: YLVIS are a comedy duo from Norway, comprised of brothers Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker. They are variety artists who have hosted a number of successful TV and radio shows. The duo released their comedy talk show DVDs YLVIS III and Norges Herligste in 2007 and 2008 respectively. YLVIS rose to international after releasing their single “The Fox,” which reached the top 10 on many music charts around the world, including the Norwegian, US Billboard Hot 100 and Australia ARIA charts. The music video for “The Fox” has so far reached almost 1 billion views on YouTube.
