After seven years of fame, five members of leading K-pop group 2PM — Jun. K, 28, Taecyeon, 27, Wooyoung, 26, Junho, 26 and Chansung, 26 — have to join the Korean army, forcing the group to take a long break from music. Before the guys put on their army uniforms, they visited Thai fans for the 2PM Concert House Party in Bangkok on March 20.

HOTTEST FUN

At Impact Arena, the guys performed 25 songs in two-and-a-half hours, including their hits “Go Crazy,” “Again & Again” and “I’m Your Man.” The group showed that they’ve continuously improved their singing, dancing and entertaining skills. In fact, this show was their best performance ever, complete with spectacular lasers and lighting. Due to their charismatic stage presence, their fans, Hottest, had fun and also interacted with 2PM. Wooyoung told the Thai Hottest that their support made him very happy.

“If there was no response from fans, we’d have no power to perform onstage,” he said.

SWEET SONG

As the homeland of 27-year-old Nichkhun, Thailand always gets a special treat from the guys. They sang Boyd Kosiyabong’s sweet song, “Muean Khoei (Just like Before),” which is about a guy who’s never bored of his girlfriend. Nichkhun said that he didn’t teach the other members how to sing the song, as everybody learned it by themselves.

FAREWELL MESSAGE

Before their encore, the guys gave their final messages to Thai Hottest. Jun K said Thailand was like their second home because of Nichkhun and the fans' affection, and he felt warmth in this hot country. Nickhun thanked the fans and said that whenever he brought his 2PM friends here everybody gave them a great welcome. He added that he doesn't know what will happen in the future, but believes that whenever 2PM come back, Thai Hottest will be with them. He said he was proud of having fans like them and that the group really loves them.

Arranged by the 411 Entertainment, the six members of 2PM held a press conference at Dusit Thani Hotel on March 19. Here are some of the highlights.

Question: What kind of activities interest you?

Nichkhun: I used to be interested in badminton but I'm getting old, so now I enjoy playing golf.

Wooyoung: I'm interested in music and like to express how I feel through music to my fans.

Jun. K: I concentrate on writing lyrics and producing songs. I also take care of my health.

Junho: I'm filming a TV series in which I play a lawyer.

Chansung: I’m playing an unemployed person in a TV series. My character is calm and quiet, but when I hang out with other actors and crew, we like to laugh a lot.

Taecyeon: I’ve been learning Pilates lately.

Question: Tell us about the band mate sitting next to you.

Nichkhun: Wooyoung lives in his own little world. When we ask him to eat together, he doesn't join us.

Wooyoung: Junho has been busy with his TV series. He gets sick and has stomach ache often.

Junho: Jun.K works hard, but he’s sometimes annoying. [Laughs.] We’re roommates so I’ve learned a lot from him.

Jun. K: Chansung is the youngest, but he’s mature and good looking. He’s generous and takes care of people around him.

Chansung: Taecyeon is handsome. However, when he goes out, his outfits are bad. He once wore a pink Mickey Mouse T-shirt. Now, he dresses better.

Taecyeon: Nichkhun is good-looking and nice. His downside is he likes to make everybody play golf. Chansung is now playing golf too.
