Welcome to our official Back to School issue of Student Weekly! Most schools must be well and truly back into the thick of it by now, so we hope you all had a relaxing, restful break while it lasted. I was never too happy to be back at school after a holiday, but once the first week was out of the way and the new routine had set in I was able to get into the swing of things and start looking forward to the next holidays. Catching up with friends you weren’t able to catch up with during the holidays is always fun, too.
Here in the palatial SW office we've been keeping busy during the school break, creating content for the best edutainment magazine the Land of Smiles has to offer. For our back to school cover story, we have an exclusive interview with Hollywood superstar Jennifer Lawrence, best known for playing Katniss Everdeen in the spectacularly successful Hunger Games film series. Biographic on page 14 looks at the life of precocious pop star Miley Cyrus, while in Karaoke Korner (page 19) you can learn the lyrics to Adele's latest hit, "Hello."
Also in this week's issue, popular local singer Pornwara Sithiprasasaha (Poi) talks about some of her favourite books, and on page 17 we review a beautifully put-together tome about Harry Potter. Also in our special Back to School issue is a story about K-pop sensations Infinite. Our exclusive University Tips column also makes a comeback for the school session to help students prepare for their university entrance exams.
