Local pop fans will know that Sugar Eyes are a teen girl group whose members each have their own distinct character. Sugar Eyes have already released an album and the smash hit single, “Sai Ta Yao (Long-sighted).”

Piglet is a member of Sugar Eyes, and she has just released her first solo single, “Mue Mai Had Rak (Beginner Learning to Love).” Piglet has a sweet, cheerful and fun personality, and her cute new pop single reflects that.

The song has a bit of a vintage ‘60s girl group feel, with a musical arrangement featuring organ, vibraphone, clean guitar and a bright, medium-paced beat. As the title suggests, the lyrics are about teenagers falling in love for the first time. To go with the sound of the song, Piglet is wearing a cute vintage-style outfit in the photo for the single.

“Beginner Learning to Love” is a nice, catchy song that fits Piglet’s personality perfectly. Listeners who liked “Long-sighted” will most likely enjoy this single as well. — VH
