Editor's note

It's raining more. Flood waters are rising in the north. That can only mean one thing: The school term is almost over.

I'm sure that the semester has just flown by for you guys, and you're really looking forward to all the revising and exam taking you're going to be doing in the coming weeks. OK, I know that's not true at all, but I'll bet you are looking forward to term break time.

Sure, this one isn't nearly as much fun as the long summer break, but at least you won't be in school for a month. Unless, of course you'll be taking extra classes and going to cram schools. I realise I'm probably not helping much with this.

I do hope that you'll get some time to wander the malls with your friends, sleep in, play video games and relax a bit over the holiday. Try to make the most of your time out of class, no matter what you're up to.

And don't forget that we here at Student Weekly will continue to be hard at work, bringing you our regular schedule of entertainment, exercises and news during your term break. It's a great way to keep your English skills polished while you're out of the classroom.

And with these fancy Internet machines all the kids are playing with nowadays, it's even easier to get your normal fix of SW. If you're online, just point your browser to www.student-weekly.com for all of the regular content you've come to know and love from the print version.

We're also on Facebook, for all you social media types. Search for Bangkok Post Student Weekly, and give us a like. You'll get weekly updates from us, and photos that you won't find in the print edition.

The SW app is also available for your mobile devices. Details about how to download it are on page 2 of this week's print issue and on the SW website.

And if you're old-school, like me, and still like the feel of newsprint and the smell of ink, you can subscribe to the print edition and never miss another issue. Subscription information is on page 22 of this issue, right under the local news. It couldn't be easier, and you'll save a bundle, when compared to the cover price.

However you choose to keep up with Student Weekly, we’re glad that you've made us part of your English-language learning experience.

Good luck on your tests, and have a great term break!
