Snoop Dogg wrote and performed the song “Let the Bass Go” for Turbo.

In the new 3-D computer-animated comedy film Turbo, an ordinary garden snail dreams of becoming the fastest snail in the world.

Turbo (Ryan Reynolds) is an unusual snail who wants to be the greatest racer in the world. His obsession with speed has made him an oddity and outsider in the slow and cautious snail community.

Turbo desperately wishes he could escape the slow-paced life he’s living, and he gets that chance after a freak accident leaves him with the power of incredible speed. The newly turbocharged Turbo embarks on an extraordinary journey to win the ultimate race against his idols.

Joining Turbo is his dedicated crew of racing snails, including Smoove Move (Snoop Dogg), Burn (Maya Rudolph) and Skidmark (Ben Schwartz). Turbo is the ultimate underdog who achieves the impossible by refusing to let his limitations get in the way of his dreams.

Catch the action, adventure and humour when Turbo hits local cinemas on July 18.
