Directed by Wes Ball, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is the second chapter of the epic Maze Runner story. Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet.
Having escaped the Maze, the Gladers are taken by soldiers into an underground bunker run by Janson (Aidan Gillen). Thomas suspects that the bunker is controlled by the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. The Gladers stage a breakout, fighting against heavily-armed soldiers. Led by Thomas and Minho (Ki Hong Lee), they grab Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) from a private surgery room and escape from the bunker.
They find themselves in the Scorch, a futuristic wasteland burnt by solar flares. Thomas meets a guerilla resistance group in the mountains called the Right Arm Camp. Teaming up with the resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.
