Arranged by embassies and cultural organisations of the European Union and SF Cinema, the European Union Film Festival 2015 features 18 films from 14 EU countries.
The films include Phoenix (Germany), Trespassing Bergman (Sweden), Girlhood (France) and Northwest (Denmark). The movie genres range from dramas to mysteries, period dramas and animations.
Apart from Bangkok, movie buffs in Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen will also have an opportunity to enjoy the European movies. In Chiang Mai, the festival will be held at SFX Cinema in Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center from July 24 to August 2. Ticket prices are 80 baht. In Khon Kaen, the festival will be held from August 7 to 9 with free admission — just pick up your tickets 30 minutes before each screening at the information counter at SFX Cinema City Central Plaza Khon Kaen.
