Tom Hiddleston played Loki in The Avengers.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, Crimson Peak is the terrifying new film about a mysterious old family house full of spooky secrets.

Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) is an aspiring author living in early-20th century New York. She is cursed with the power to communicate with the souls of the dead, and one night receives a mysterious warning from beyond the grave — “Beware of Crimson Peak.”

When Edith’s father dies, Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) takes her to live in his luxurious family mansion in the English hills, a place alive with mystery and danger. Blood-red clay seeps through the snow and stains the mountainside, earning it the name Crimson Peak.

As Edith settles into her new life as Thomas’s wife, the mansion takes on a life of its own as she is visited by nightmarish visions and scary ghosts — but the true monster of Crimson Peak is made of flesh and blood.

Face the danger when Crimson Peak opens on October 15.
