In the critically-acclaimed new romantic crime drama Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, a man escapes from prison in order to reunite with his wife and young child.

Bob Muldoon (Casey Affleck) and Ruth Guthrie (Rooney Mara) are an impassioned young outlaw couple on an extended crime spree. However, they are finally apprehended by lawmen after a shoot-out in the Texas hills. Although Ruth wounds a local officer, Bob takes the blame and is sent to prison.

Four years later, Bob makes a daring escape from prison and sets out to find Ruth and their daughter, who was born during his incarceration.

Set against the backdrop of the Texas countryside in the 1970’s, director David Lowery creates a poetic and melancholy atmosphere that evokes the mythology of classic westerns.

Catch the action, drama and romance when Ain’t Them Bodies Saints hits local cinemas on November 14.
