Did you know

The 21 Jump Street TV show starred Johnny Depp.

The new action comedy film 22 Jump Street is a sequel to the hit 2012 slapstick comedy 21 Jump Street, which in turn was based on a popular TV show from the late 1980s.

After making their way through high school, big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go undercover at a local college.

When Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the athletic team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, the two officers begin to question their partnership. They soon find that as well as having to crack their case, they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship with each other. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Catch the wacky humour and action when 22 Jump Street hits local cinemas on August 14.
