Bluedock return with a hit

Bluedock
Kong Kao (Old Stuff)
Independent release

Many local listeners might remember the band Bluedock, who had a number of hit songs a long time ago. It has now been more than seven years since the band released a new album, but the guys have in fact been busy working as a back-up band for other artists.

Now Bluedock are ready to release some new music in their own right, and the first of their new tracks is the single, “Kong Kao (Old Stuff).” With this song, fans of the band will instantly recognise Bluedock’s signature pop rock sound.

The song has a nice musical arrangement, with a bit of piano added to make it more interesting and easy to listen to. The lyrics are about love, but from a fairly sarcastic point of view. The lead singer’s voice still sounds as great as it did on the band’s first album.

“Old Stuff” retains the style and feeling of Bluedock’s previous hit songs, so it will definitely please the band’s older fans. The song is also good enough to attract listeners who are new to Bluedock’s music. — VH
