Translated by Sunee Canyuk, this English-learning book includes six main chapters, each of which includes definitions of vocabulary words in Thai and English.

An overview of football is provided in the book’s opening chapter, with technical terms relating to soccer like goal, pitch, positions and formations explained.

The following chapter highlights words that sports reporters use to describe football players and World Cup superstars like Argentina’s top forward Lionel Messi, Portugal midfielder Christiano Ronaldo, Brazilian defender Triago Silva and Italy’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Since Brazil hosted the 2014 World Cup, Welcome to Brazil is a special chapter about Brazil’s unique playing fields in each city, with extra information about the topography and climate in the country.
