Letter of the week

FRIENDLY FUN

Last Sunday I spent time hanging out with my friend. We decided to take photos during our day.

We met at Hua Lamphong at 10 am and took a lot of photos there. Then we went to Wang Lang Market by boat. We bought a lot of food there and stayed until evening before heading back home.

It was a very fun day and I was very happy.

Songnapa Noiseaweeprasrat,
Bangkok

Thanks for telling us about your fun day, Songnapa. It's a good idea to take photos with your friends during fun days like that — in the future you can look back at those pictures and remember good times. — Editor

HAPPY HOBBIES

I am an 18-year-old student. I want to talk about hobbies ways to spend spear time.

I like to spend my spare time at home listening to music. Music helps me to relax and relieves my stress. Another hobby is outdoor sports, which can make you strong.

What hobbies do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Nisachon Pookham,
Bangkok

Thanks for your letter, Nisachon. Listening to music at home is definitely one of my favourite hobbies, too. I also enjoy playing music on my guitar. I'm not so much of an outdoor sports person, although I do love swimming and walking. Anything's better than watching television, anyway! — Editor

BREEZY BEACH

I'm writing to tell you about an exciting trip. Next month I will have an opportunity to travel to Cha-am.

There is a famous beach resort there. I went there three years ago. The breeze was very cool. We stayed in a private villa, and in the morning I would walk outside for fresh air. The sea water was also clean and pretty. When the sun was up, I played with a ball in the sea with my family.

Next month I am going to travel there again.

Thitiworada Janthichai,
Bangkok

That sounds like a nice spot for a holiday, Thitiworada. It has been quite a while since I've been able to spend time at a beach, and reading your letter makes me hope that I can get to one soon! — Editor
