The ‘Healthy Children Contest 2014’ is open to one-to-five-year-olds. Applications should be made by Friday.
It's time for healthy children to get a reward during the 'Healthy Children Contest 2014' which is accepting applications from today until Friday.
Organised by the Department of Paediatrics, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital of the Thai Red Cross Society, the annual contest aims to encourage parents to take proper care of their children, physically and mentally, and promote their development to the fullest.
It has two age categories _ one to two-and-a-half years and two-and-a-half to five years _ as of March 2. The winners of each category will receive trophies and prizes from the Thai Red Cross Society.
The selection rounds will take place on Feb 5, Feb 12 and March 12 with the final round on March 19. The judging panel will include a paediatrician, dentist, psychiatrist, psychologist and nurse. They will provide a medical check-up and give advice to parents and guardians.
Application forms cost 100 baht and are available at the public relations department on the ground floor of the Phor Por Ror Bldg. Interested parents should submit the application forms together with their children's medical reports relating to vaccination information to the ground floor of Sor Kor Bldg.
King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital is located on Rama IV Road.
