The First Silent Film Festival in Thailand

To celebrate its 30th year anniversary, Film Archive (Public Organization) has collaborated with the British Council Thailand to arrange The 1st Silent Film Festival in Thailand.

Seven silent films will be screened, accompanied by live piano played by professional pianists who perform specifically for silent films. The line-up of silent films includes The Pleasure Garden, The Ring and The Lodger directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.

Every film will be shown with subtitles in Thai and English. Tickets at Lido 2 Theatre are 100 baht, while tickets at Scala are 500 baht. For more details and film schedules, go to www.facebook.com/silentfilmthailand.
