Directed by Josh Trank, Fantastic Four is the latest superhero flick from Marvel Comics.
Science nerd Reed Richards (Miles Teller) moves to New York City and joins an elite student program, where he develops technology that can transport people to another dimension.
Reed decides to test his device with his friends Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) and Victor von Doom (Toby Kebbell). They travel to another dimension that resembles a primordial Earth.
Unfortunately, the mission goes wrong, leading to an explosion. Reed, Johnny and Ben are seriously injured along with fellow student Sue Storm (Kate Mara), who stayed behind in the lab. Meanwhile, Victor is missing.
The four now have incredible abilities. Reed can stretch his body into extraordinary shapes, Johnny can light himself on fire, Sue can make herself invisible and Ben is now a huge rock-man.
The four young people must join together as they learn their new abilities and, ultimately, attempt to save the Earth from a mysterious and powerful force.
