Beyoncé Knowles’ new DVD release, Life Is but a Dream + Live in Atlantic City, contains two different videos on two discs.

Directed by Beyoncé herself, Life Is but a Dream is a detailed autobiographical film about the singer’s life story. The film lets fans know more about Beyoncé and her attitudes toward her varied roles as a popular singer, a wife and a daughter. The 90-minute film also allows viewers to explore the star’s background, music career, personal problems, work pressure, hobbies and goals.

The other 75-minute DVD is a film of a live performance called Live in Atlantic City. Highlights include Beyoncé singing her heart out on her recent hit ballads “Halo” and “I Was Here.” Another touching moment is when Beyoncé sings part of Whitney Houston’s hit “I Will Always Love You” as a tribute to her idol.

Beyoncé is a true professional who throughout this concert sang and danced dynamically through 21 hit songs non-stop.

Fans of Beyoncé shouldn’t hesitate to grab a copy of this great DVD set at a local music store. — IT
